Guy Shamilov is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Forcepoint, leading the company’s global cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
With over 20 years of experience, including a decade as a CISO, he brings a proven track record of developing and executing enterprise-wide security programs to fortify Forcepoint’s security architecture, protect sensitive data and strengthen customer trust.
Shamilov specializes in embedding cybersecurity into corporate culture and driving multi-year transformation initiatives that mitigate risk and enhance resilience. He has successfully led enterprise-wide security programs across industries, including Insurance, Financial Services, Homeland Security and IT, spearheading global programs across the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.
His expertise includes securing cloud production environments, and guiding enterprises through on-premises to cloud transitions and aligning security with business objectives through Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks. He has also pioneered “Security & Sales” strategies that protect customer data while enabling business growth and regulatory adherence.
Prior to Forcepoint, Shamilov served as CISO at Varonis, Tata Consultancy Services and Traiana, driving security innovation and risk management. He holds the (ISC)² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, along with multiple industry-recognized credentials. Recognized for his leadership and contributions to cybersecurity, Shamilov was named CISO of the Year (2023) by the NC Tech Association.
