Successfully Migrating to an SSE Platform
Security Service Edge (SSE) platforms have gained immense popularity in a short time because they provide a powerful tool against many common problems that plague cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives.
SSE platforms allow IT security teams to remove complexity while adding agility to business operations by using them and having a single place to easily manage security over all user interactions with any cloud application, web content or private applications. This centralization makes it easier to secure business resources containing sensitive data even when using a mix of cloud and private apps, and remote or hybrid users.
While it’s fair to say migrating to a new, unified security SSE platform requires a bit of planning, it’s clear that a successful implementation provides numerous organizations benefits by allowing them to quickly and easily move workloads to cloud applications, to adopt consistent security policies across business resources (including identity-based access controls) and to use inline DLP & malware protection capabilities for access from unmanaged devices.
