Ryan Windham
Chief Executive Officer
Ryan Windham is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Forcepoint. He brings over two decades of innovation and customer-first leadership experience in cybersecurity, automation and AI/ML to his role as CEO.
He previously held the role of Forcepoint Chief Customer and Strategy Officer responsible for accelerating adoption of the company’s Security-as-a-Service platform and driving Data-first SASE market leadership by optimizing and aligning customer-first operational excellence, technology roadmaps, and global product offerings.
Prior to joining Forcepoint, Windham was co-founder and CEO of Zeitworks, a provider of a SaaS solution that uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to illuminate, analyze, and optimize business processes.
Prior to Zeitworks, Windham was CEO of AppViewX, a leader in low-code/no-code automation and orchestration of network and security infrastructure for large enterprises. During his tenure, Windham’s customer-first focus helped drive a 95 percent customer retention rate and 80 percent subscription revenue growth year-over-year.
Windham also served as CEO of Cedexis, a company that used artificial intelligence and machine learning to enable real-time optimization of app delivery across clouds, CDNs, and data centers. Cedexis was acquired by Citrix Systems in 2018.
Additionally, Windham has served as Vice President of Product Management for Security and Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at F5 Networks where he launched the company’s first SaaS platform and doubled cybersecurity revenue within three years. He has also held corporate development and strategy, as well as product and engineering roles at Websense, prior to its rebranding to Forcepoint in 2016.
Windham holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BSc in Business Administration with Marketing from Royal Holloway, University of London.
